What is instructing?

The instructor training program consists of a series of short drafter-led training sessions held by the PCO aimed at improving how we and instructing agencies work together. Learn more about instructing us.

Training sessions explain the drafting process and expectations about how to provide us with drafting instructions. They also provide an opportunity for drafters and instructors to meet face to face, ask questions and discuss matters of common interest. The sessions are usually about 2 hours in length.

Who should attend?

Training sessions are intended for staff of agencies involved in instructing the PCO on the drafting of Bills and statutory instruments.

How do I register?

The next instructor training sessions are scheduled for Thursday 7 April, Tuesday 19 July and Tuesday 26 July from 9.30am-11.30am and will be held online. For more information and to register please email instructor.training@pco.nsw.gov.au.
